More specifically, home title insurance covers you, as a lender, against losses associated with the priority, validity and unenforceability of a residential mortgage. It also helps guard against claims that challenge your interest in the title. Plus, for a low one-time premium, coverage lasts for as long as the mortgage remains registered against title.

FCT offers two types of home title insurance for residential properties — a Loan Policy that protects lenders like you, and a Homeowner Policy that covers the borrower.
